Kalien and Kevin had one of the more romantic weddings we have seen and the amazing Fess Parker Wine Country Inn Wedding. Featured on the one and only Style Me Pretty. Not only is it tucked away in the beautiful hills of Los Olivos, but it is only minutes from a romantic outing at their very out vineyard escape. We had the wonderful opportunity to sneak away from the cocktail hour to the hidden vineyards on the hill that most of the general public visiting does not have access to. Getting to see the sun shine though the oaktrees that guard the fresh grapes is truly spectacular.
If you are not enjoying the wine and horses, you must definitely be indulging in Chef John’s amazing cornbread. Everything we have ever had from him has been an absolute treat. The Bear and Star is where John is cooking up something delicious and fresh from their farm for you to enjoy. The garden is full of wonderful produce that guarantees a fresh tasty treat for you and all your guests. We got to see this bride and groom enjoy all of that and more with their intimate wedding of close family and friends.

This gorgeous Coastal Bridal Shoot in Malibu California was inspired by incorporating the talents and aspirations that a person has into the shoot itself. This bride is also a very talented artist and we used her amazing sketch as a centerpiece for the shoot. Combining this inspiration with a love of nature, this beach shoot came to life with amazing colors and movement. How could you not love this shot that has both beauty and a wonderful marriage of talent and artistry attached. To top it all of with the amazing accent of hellebores cascading down her back turned this boudoir bridal shoot into an absolute dream. This amazing shoot was featured in Joy Wed, which is a carefully curated, fine art Canadian wedding journal, focused on providing brides with the most awe-inspiring inspiration and talented industry vendors.

This Downtown Los Angeles Bridal Shoot was just filled with all kinds of pretty. Put together by the wonderfully talented Hailey from Detailed Touch Events. We love working with amazing creatives in this crazy wedding industry. Sometimes the team just comes together so perfectly with the collaborative vision that every piece just fits. From the florals by Emily Reynolds Design, the dresses from designer Hayley Paige sent from JLM, to jewelry from Nicolette Fine Jewels and bespoke lingerie provided by Girl and a Serious Dream, this project told a story. To put a bow on it, as they say, the hair and make up was flawlessly done by a favorite of ours, Jenny with Blushing Beauty. Cassidy and Russell wanted some beautiful pictures done in California for their Agoura wedding portraits. Only a week prior, they were married in Utah before making the trip down for their reception. In addition, Cassidy’s family lives in Southern California. So we met up with these two before their open house reception to take some shots in the open fields hidden in the hills. You could forget your rock and roll, it was all country side. What was there not to love between the fields of gold and flower crown?
We decided to find these wonderful oak trees hidden in the back trails to get the perfect scenery for these Old Agoura wedding portraits. In addition, you cannot see the trails from the main road. The locals consider this a hidden gem. It was a perfectly sunny day in California with some gorgeous lighting. The California light peeked through the trees while it was setting behind the hills. The setting was a fantastic backdrop that really made Cassidy’s bouquet of red and yellow flowers pop.
Agoura Wedding Portraits in the Heart of Old Agoura
Cassidy is all about family, so when it came to her big day her sisters were right by her side ready to lend a helping hand. They did Cassidy’s hair and makeup by adding in a braid to compliment her flower crown and giving her makeup a more natural look that truly made this bride glow.
Real moments are always the ones that end up being our favorites. Nothing posed, just two people that love each other being who they are. As you can see, posing can never beat real emotion of a bride and groom.
Sometimes it requires a little extra work by our amazing couples to get the shots we are looking for. There are a million thistles in the fields of Old Agoura. While pretty, these thistles get into everything. Everyone had quite a few in their clothing by the end, but it was worth it.
