This Sunstone Villa Engagement shoot with Leah and Christian was the perfect setting for this couple. Sunstone is a wonderful private residence that has such unique architecture that if transports you right into the Tuscan hills of Italy. This shoot had such great simplicity that made it easy to bring out the Villa’s natural beauty. From the imported limestone to the 19th century reclaimed wooden beams, there are unique details in each corner. Sunstone also has its own vineyard tucked away in Santa Ynez that so many patrons of the villa love. Just sit down and enjoy a glass by the Center Courtyard.
For this particular Sunstone Villa Engagement shoot we were able to capture the subtle romance between two people enjoying their time together. Placing two people in such a comfortable setting allows for so much emotion and movement. We could spend all day in this kitchen with the fresh artisan bread, imported cheeses, and a fresh bowl of berries.
“Completed in 2004, the Villa was constructed entirely from artifacts and materials recovered from buildings and rural villages carefully selected by Sunstone founders Fred and Linda Rice while on numerous trips to quarries and reclamation yards. The Villa has five master suites each replete with its own private bath, fine linens and bedding. It also includes eight fireplaces, Billiards room and numerous terraces and patios with views of the mountains and vineyard. The Villa’s Center Courtyard with fireplace is the ideal setting to enjoy a glass of Sunstone Wine and embrace the wine country lifestyle.
The Villa is ideal for intimate family and friend getaways, and sleeps ten guests. Private gatherings are welcome for groups of under 80. Private chef and personal concierge are available upon request. Located in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, the Villa is surrounded by world class recreation, fine dining and renowned vineyards and wineries.”
Cuddling up indoors can sometimes be so much more romantic than a night out.
